Please see below some frequently asked questions:
:. Can I have my Diamond Number on PAYG (Pay as you Go)
Of course you can. Diamond NumbersTM can be easily transferred on to any PAYG sim card, simply advise us of your preferred network and we will transfer your number accordingly and free of charge.
:. Can I use my Diamond Number on a Pay Monthly contract?
You certainly can. Diamond Numbers can be used on any UK mobile phone network whether on a ‘pay monthly’ contract or as above on a ‘pay as you go’ Sim Card.
:. Can I simply replace my existing Pay Monthly number with one of your brilliant Diamond Numbers?
Most Networks will allow you to replace your current number with a Diamond Number however we recommend that you speak to your individual network prior to purchase as some networks may require you to ‘buy out’ your current contract before they will attach your new Diamond Number.
:. Can I keep my Diamond Number even if I change networks in the future?
Diamonds are forever… You have the right to take your number with you when you move from one Network to another. This is commonly known as ‘porting’ and usually takes five working days. To ‘port’ your Diamond Number you will need a PAC code from your current Service Provider.
:. What is a PAC code?
A PAC code (Porting Authorisation Code) is given by your service provider to allow you to transfer your phone number onto another service provider’s network. The code is normally made up of three letters and six numbers and is valid for thirty days.
:. How can I pay for my Diamond Number?
Here at Diamond Numbers we pretty much take any form of payment! You can pay by either credit/debit card over the phone or via our secure online payment facility, cheque, postal order, bank transfer and Paypal.
:. How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free, (yes that’s right we said free) for Sim Cards being sent within the UK and Ireland.
:. Can I have my Diamond Number delivered to an alternative address?
We only deliver to the registered address of the card holder. We will deliver to alternative addresses only when payment is being made by either cheque or bank transfer.
:. Can I have my Diamond Number delivered outside the U.K.?
Yes you can. Please note that deliveries outside the UK and Ireland are not free of charge.
:. What happens if I miss the Royal Mail delivery?
If no one is available to sign for your package, a card will be left and the parcel held at the local Royal Mail Depot for you to collect. Parcels will be held for 10 days before they are returned to us (Diamond Numbers Ltd). Please call the number specified on the card if you wish to re-arrange delivery, re-direct the parcel to an alternative address or collect from your local Post Office.
:. I have a good number that I would like to sell, would you be interested?
No is the simple answer. We are unable to purchase mobile numbers under any circumstances.
:. Do you sell call divert numbers?
We most certainly do not sell call divert numbers. We only sell genuine mobile phone numbers.
:. Is there anything else I should be made aware of?
Please note that if you intend to keep your new number on PAYG, virtually all network providers require you to make a chargeable call once every 3 to 6 months. (this varies from network to network, please see individual service providers terms and conditions) The networks do this so that they can re-issue unused mobile phone numbers.
