:. Your Security and Diamond Numbers Ltd – Secure Online Purchasing

Diamond Numbers Ltd takes the security and privacy of its customers’ very seriously.

Please read the following to familiarise yourself with our online purchasing tools and procedures:

:. Security of your personal information submitted to us: Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information submitted to us in the form of emails is private and secure and will not be used for any other purpose or sold to a third party marketing, data or other type of business.

If you are signed up to our mailing list, from time to time we may send you emails, but we will never send you an email requesting your security information, personal details or credit/debit card details. Emails and or pop-ups do circulate posing to be from banks or other financial institutions asking you to submit your personal details, we will never do this.

Diamond Numbers complies with all the principles of data protection set out by the government- for further information please visit www.businesslink.gov.uk.

:. Safe and secure online purchasing at Diamond Numbers Ltd

We can appreciate that internet shopping for some people can still be seen as a risky way to purchase a product, so we have implemented several payment gateways/facilities to put your mind at ease.

At Diamond Numbers we do not process the payments ourselves; this is done entirely through independent third party payment companies, which are listed below:

We use two different types of third party payment gateways, so you have the freedom of choice (and hopefully one you will recognise and trust to use to pay us through.)

Please note: if you have any pop-up killers (to prevent unsolicited pop-up box advertising) please set it to ‘allow diamondnumbers.com’ or disable before proceeding, to allow the payment gateway to open in a secure, new window.

If you do attempt to purchase a number and upon submitting the form, do not see another browser window open, (your pop-up blocker has prevented the payment site from opening) the number will be reserved on the site, and will prevent any further attempts to purchase it until it is released by our web developers.

:. Barclays EPDQ

Our primary payment facility is provided by Barclays Business, is powered by Barclaycard Merchant Services, (BMS) called ‘EPDQ’, which literally means ‘Electronic PDQ’, employs a secure server that implements secure socket layer technology (SSL), that keeps your payment and personal details protected when ordering on-line. EPDQ also supports ‘verified by Visa’ and MasterCard secure code’ which are further security measures that can be taken to prevent unauthorised use of your card.

Every single transaction that is processed by Barclays is subject to stringent checks by their fraud control systems, as well as Diamond Numbers having extra fraud security in place provided by BMS that checks all card details, including billing address, to validate the authenticity and validity of your payment card and personal details, as well as indicators of possible fraudulent use.

:. Please note that for this reason we can only post to the cardholders billing address.

Once you have filled out your order details, you will be navigated away from the Diamond Numbers website, and you will be taken onto the secure EPDQ payment page on the Barclays e-commerce website. You may notice if you look at your URL (address) bar on your browser window that http:// has now changed to https:// showing you are now on a completely secure site. Sometimes you may see a small icon that denotes a padlock on the bottom of your screen, showing that you are now in a secure environment or ‘Secure Mode’

:. What is ‘Secure mode’?

Web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape support ‘secure mode’ and standard security protocols. They can warn you if the site you are about to view if secure or unsecure, by alerting you prior to entering any details, usually by way of a message box popping up, and you can choose how to proceed from here. When you reach our checkout pages, your browser will go into secure mode, displaying either the ‘s’ in ‘https’, or the small padlock on the grey bar at the bottom of your display, before entering any personal or payment details. This means that all of your information being sent across the internet is now encrypted with 128-bit encryption which our website supports, which literally means your information now has millions of code combinations that are virtually impossible to break, protecting the transaction and keeping your card details safe from being viewed by anyone else. We do not hold any of this information nor do we have access to it.

Please note: For Payments that are in excess of £1000.00 you may need to contact your card issuing company prior to purchase, to let them know to expect an online payment from Diamond Numbers Ltd, so they can remove any on-line fraud shield on your card, which is in place to protect you as the customer from potential fraudulent activity.

:. Paypal

The alternative option with which to take payments is Paypal, of which we are Verified members (Paypal have checked and verified all of our business details).

Paypal is a widely used method of safe secure internet payments. If you choose to use this method, you will notice that it displays https:// in the URL bar to show that it is secure, as well as the locked padlock in the bottom of your browser window (click to verify) and also their own security message and padlock in the top right hand corner of the screen.

You do not need a Paypal account to pay us through; you can simply pay us using it without first having to register for an account. For further details, please see www.paypal.co.uk.

There is no extra charge for using EPDQ or Paypal.

For further details on any of our payment facilities, please see their respective websites or click on their logos on the main site.

:. Secure card payments over the phone

We accept credit and debit card payments made over the telephone. All of the payments to us are processed via our ‘Point Of Sale’ system, also provided by Barclays EPDQ, for your peace of mind.

:. Advanced Features

- This means that all card details are checked and verified with the issuing bank
- The billing address and postcode for the card is also checked, as is the main account holders name/company name
- Checks and verifies the card security digits, found on the reverse of the card (last 3 digits on the signature strip), impossible to use without the correct numbers
- This prevents you from any unauthorised use of your card, and also protects us from potential fraud.
This system has proven to be far safer than a standard PDQ machine employed by the majority of companies.
- All of your card details provided to us are destroyed immediately after use.
